Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo. The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.

It's a eurasian jay, telling stories to the moon This piece is HUGE.. and most of the tiny knotwork is hardly visable.. sadly.. Not to mention that shrinking it down so bad removed all the clearness of all the individual feathering that is visable on the original

Yet another idea that's been kicking around in my brain for ages. Somehow the internet owls "O Rly?, Ya Rly!" and "No Wai!" just seems to need to be meshed with the three wise monkies in my mind. I know it's kind of random... but there's a lot of random stuff in my head. I just usually don't write it down.

I love the jewel-like colors of so many of the Rainforest's amphibious residents! I sought to intensify the colors of this little treefrog by using strong lighting and a deep background. I haven't much practice at painting flowers, so hopefully this orchid's believable.

This is the final sketch commission for Travis Moonschein of a snarling werewolf tearing his clothes free due to his increased body mass as the moon rises. This time I used a blending stub for the pencil to make it smoother which took the most time. Overall I'm happy.
